The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles Brentwood Service Center is now open and serving customers. The Service Center (located in the Brentwood Square Mall at 1233 Brentwood Road, NE) was closed this morning due to an overnight accident in which a vehicle hit the building. The facility opened at 11:50 am, 1 hour and 50 minutes after normal opening time after The Fire Department (FEMS), Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA), the Office of Property Management (OPM) and the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) building inspectors assessed no structural damage and authorized the building to open to the public after necessary repairs were implemented.
The Brentwood Service Center provides vehicle registrations and renewals, titles, driver license and identification cards issuance & renewals. Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10:15 am - 6 pm (driver knowledge examinations are from 10:15 am - 5 pm).
