(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Department of Motor
Vehicles Penn Branch Service Center, located at 3220 Pennsylvania
Avenue, SE in the Penn Branch Shopping Center, will open and resume
regularly scheduled hours of operation on Wednesday, June 6, 2007.
The Penn Branch Service Center was closed for transactions Tuesday,
June 5 due to facility issues. The Office of Property Management
has resolved the facility issues and authorized the DMV to reopen.
The Penn Branch Service Center provides vehicle registrations
and renewals, titles, driver license and identification card issuance & renewals.
All other DMV Service Centers and Southwest Vehicle Inspection
Station will open for regularly scheduled hours of operation.
