DMV Southwest Service Center, Call Center Closed Due to Power Outage

(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles Southwest Service Center, located at 95 M Street,SW, is experiencing a power outage and is now closed for transactions. PEPCO anticipates resolving the power issues later today and the DMV anticipates resuming normally scheduled hours of operation Friday, June 8. The DMV Call Center phones were impacted by this power outage, and the Call Center is also closed.

The Southwest Service Center provides vehicle registrations and renewals, titles and driver license and identification card issuance and renewals, dealer, taxi and International Registration Program services. Customers that want to facilitate a DMV transaction today at the Southwest Service location should visit another DMV Service Center listed below:
