DMV Southwest Inspection Station Resumes Regular Schedule Today, Opens 6 am-6 pm

The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles has canceled code red service hours for Wednesday, July 11, at the Southwest Vehicle Inspection Station, located at 1001 Half Street, SW due to a change in the weather forecast and cooling rains providing relief from the excessive heat and elevated heat index values. The Vehicle Inspection Station will resume regular hours of operation Wednesday, July 11, 2007, opening at 6 am and closing at 6 pm. The Vehicle Inspection Station operates Monday - Friday from 6 am-6 pm, and Saturdays 7 am-3 pm.

The Southwest Inspection Station provides vehicle inspections.  
 
All other DMV Service Center locations and Adjudication Services will observe normally scheduled hours of operation.
