DMV Inspection Station Observes
Code Red Service Hours Tuesday, Opens 5 am to 1 pm
The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles Southwest
Inspection Station, located at 1001 Half Street, SW, will observe
code red service hours Tuesday, August 7, 2007, opening one hour
earlier at 5 am and closing five hours earlier at 1 pm due to the
extreme heat temperature forecasted for Tuesday, August 7. Regular
hours of operation are 6 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday and 7 am – 3
pm Saturdays.
The Southwest Inspection Station provides vehicle inspections.
Customers are encouraged to watch media coverage, visit our website
(dmv.dc.gov) or
contact us at (202) 727-5000 to ensure the code red service hours
are not cancelled or extended beyond Tuesday due to a change in
the weather.
All other DMV Service Center locations and Adjudication Services
will observe normally scheduled hours of operation.
