DMV Southwest Inspection Station Extends Code Red Service Hours Through Wednesday
The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles Southwest Inspection Station, located at 1001 Half Street, SW, extends observance of code red service hours through Wednesday, August 8. The Vehicle Inspection Station will open one hour earlier at 5 am and will close five hours earlier at 1 pm due to the excessive heat temperatures forecasted for Tuesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 8, 2007. Regular hours of operation are 6 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday, and 7 am – 3 pm on Saturdays.

Wednesday, August 8 Service Hours: 5 am until 1 pm
The Southwest Inspection Station provides vehicle inspections.

are not cancelled or extended beyond Tuesday due to a change in
the weather.
All other DMV Service Center locations and Adjudication Services
will observe normally scheduled hours of operation.
