To title or register a vehicle, you must provide at least one primary source document, as listed below, to satisfy proof of DC driver's license or Identification Card .

Primary Sources (one required) - must be original:

• Unexpired DC Driver's License.
• Unexpired DC Learner's Permit.
• Unexpired DC Non-Driver's Identification Card.
