Thursday, May 15, 2014

WASHINGTON, DC) – In observance of Memorial Day, all District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) locations will be closed on Saturday, May 24 and Monday, May 26, 2014. All DC DMV service centers, adjudication services, and the inspection station will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27.

·        Renew vehicle registration (can only be done online or by mail; no in-person visit)

·        Obtain duplicate vehicle registration

·        Surrender tags

·        Obtain driver record

DC DMV has more than 40 online services, enabling customers to “skip the in-person trip.”
