Booted/Towed Vehicles

Can I have a hearing after my vehicle is booted or towed?

The registered owner or an individual with Power of Attorney may have a hearing on any outstanding parking ticket(s) less than 60 days old and the boot or tow fee. If the ticket is more than 60 days old, a Motion to Vacate Judgment must be submitted at Adjudication Services for a walk-in hearing.

Once the ticket and corresponding fees are paid, the registered owner is no longer eligible for a hearing. Payment is considered an admission of liability except when made to secure the release of a vehicle after hearings have concluded for the day. If payment is made after hearings are concluded on tickets that are still eligible for a hearing, the registered owner should request a voucher and must appear for a hearing the next business day.
