Record
- You may request a non-certified driver record online. You may request a certified copy of your 3-, 5-, or 10-year Drivers record by mail or in person at a designated DC DMV service location. A certified driver record contains the DC DMV stamp and is required for most official purposes. To protect the privacy of individuals, DMV does not provide Drivers record information over the telephone.

Bring or enclose documentation of your full name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver license number (if it differs from your Social Security number), a photocopy of your proof of identification, and a check or money order payable to DC Treasurer. Drivers record fees are determined based on the report requested. You will receive a copy of your driving record immediately if in person or within 14 business days if by mail.
