How do I schedule a hearing on a minor moving violation?
To contest a minor moving violation, your request must be received within 60 calendar days from the date of the ticket. However, if you do not schedule a hearing within 30 calendar days a penalty equal to your fine will be added and your driving privileges may be suspended. Do not submit payment if you are contesting the ticket. You will receive a notice with the date and time of your hearing. All scheduled hearings are conducted at DMV Adjudication Services. When you arrive on your scheduled hearing date, you must check in and present your hearing notice or a valid driver license.
