All Vehicle Inspection Fees are collected at the time of vehicle registration and registration renewal. Depending on your registration date, you may have already paid for the inspection or will pay upon your next renewal.*

Note: The Inspection fee includes two free re-inspections, if required, during the 20 day period of the failed inspection sticker.


Reinspection Fees and Late Fees
Reinspection fees (for re-inspections required after the 20 day failed period) and late fees are collected at the time the registration is renewed.



*In 2007, DMV will make an improvement in the system by synchronizing the registration and inspection to the same date to occur once every two years. This will make the payment for service less complicated. Citizens will be notified directly of this change.
