Medical Restrictions

The following medical conditions will result in the indicated restrictions on your license:

Medical Condition Driving Restriction
Arthritis in lower extremities Automatic transmission
Deaf Left outside mirror properly placed
Deaf/hearing impaired Hearing aids
Insulin-dependent Diabetic Diabetes Indicator (optional)
Doctor’s Recommendation No driving during rush hours
Dwarf/Midget Appropriate elevation of seat and use of floor pedal extensions
Missing fingers or a hand Spinner knob for steering wheel
Missing right arm extremity Hand controls-left hand operation
Missing right extremity Left foot accelerator
Missing right leg Automatic transmission left foot accelerator
Respiratory problems Must use portable oxygen when driving
Vision Two outside mirrors properly placed
Vision Daylight driving only
Vision Must wear glasses or contact lenses
Vision Biopic/Telescopic lens

A restriction can only be removed if you provide an updated Medical and/or Eye Report* with the appropriate findings by your physician.
