Replace a Learner Permit

If your learner permit has been damaged, lost or stolen, you can obtain a duplicate learner permit. The DMV makes learner permit replacement convenient by offering replacement services online or at a DMV service location.

Requirements

If you are replacing a learner permit at a DMV service location, you must bring the following documents with you and be prepared to pay the applicable fees.

• Completed Drivers License/Voter Registration Application [PDF]
• Proof of Identity
• Proof of Social Security Number
• Proof of Current Residency (If Changed)
