*DC DMV's Director has the authority to require additional restrictions based on safety requirements.
A restriction can only be removed if you provide an updated Medical/Eye Report with the appropriate findings by your medical professional and must be submitted on your medical professionals letterhead, with the exception of the Corrective Lenses Restriction which has separate requirements (for Corrective Lenses Restriction removal, visit dmv.dc.gov/service/screening-vision).
