[NEW] As a result of recent regulatory changes due to the Motor Excise Tax Amendment Act of 2024, DC DMV has revised the calculations for motor vehicle excise taxes. Effective Monday, February 17, 2025, DC DMV's system will automatically calculate the vehicle excise tax based on the excise tax formula.
