The Online Dealer Interface System (ODIS) provides new car dealerships and third party providers with the ability to title new and used vehicles for residents of the District. As an ODIS user, you have a distinct relationship with the District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) and our customers. With this partnership with DC DMV, you will have access to confidential customer information. It is critical for ODIS users to protect, secure, and properly use that information. ODIS users should not leave ODIS unattended or unprotected, while using ODIS. Additionally, ODIS users are prohibited from sharing usernames and passwords.
Except as part of your legitimate job duties and only in compliance with applicable Federal and District laws, you must not disclose or permit to be disclosed any confidential information. Also, you must not use any such confidential information for your own benefit or the benefit of another.
