(WASHINGTON, DC) – The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles’ (DC DMV) Inspection Station will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 due to significant system issues. Customers who have an expired inspection sticker (a sticker which expired either June 30th or July 1st) can visit the station to receive a temporary 30 day inspection sticker.  All late inspection fees resulting from this closure will be waived. 

DC DMV apologizes for the inconvenience this situation is causing and is working diligently to resolve the issue.
