Revised
(Washington, DC) Effective October 1, 2011, the District Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will increase fees on select drivers License and Vehicle Registration services. The cost to obtain a Residential Parking Permit (RPP) will have two fee categories. For a senior, defined as over the age of 65, who is the primary vehicle owner, the RPP will increase to $25. For all other registered drivers, the RPP fee will increase to $35.
The fee increases, listed below, were part of the FY12 budget gap closing package.
