Washington- The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) Georgetown Service Center will be closed beginning at 1 pm. for the remainder of the day, Tuesday, July 19, due to ongoing problems with the air conditioning system.

DMV will accommodate as many customers currently inside as possible, but customers are encouraged to go online to complete their DMV service needs or visit on another day. DMV plans to reopen the Georgetown Service Center at 8:15 am on Wednesday.
