Payment and Credit Cards

• Accepted Payments: DMV accepts payments in the form of cash, check, money order or credit card.
• Accepted Credit Cards: DC Government accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.
• Payment methods not accepted: contactless payments, such as: Apple Pay, Google Pay
• Outstanding Debts: all debts to DC Government must be satisfied before completing most of your DMV transactions (child support payments, outstanding tickets and dishonored checks).
