Payment and Credit Cards
- Accepted Payments: DMV accepts payments in the form of cash, check, money order or credit card.
- Accepted Credit Cards: DC Government accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.
- Payment methods not accepted: contactless payments, such as: Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Outstanding Debts: all debts to DC Government must be satisfied before completing most of your DMV transactions (child support payments, outstanding tickets and dishonored checks).
