A Message from Director Robinson
It's a wonderful time of year to be out and about in the District. If you have business with DC DMV that needs to be completed at one of our Service Centers, Team DMV wants your visit to be quick and efficient so you can continue your day and enjoy everything our amazing city has to offer. You can help make your visit to DC DMV a positive experience by planning ahead and reviewing our Document Verification Guide prior to your visit. This will help you determine which documents you will need to bring to a DMV Service Center to complete your transaction in one visit.
April is National Donate Life Month and, in this month's newsletter, we encourage residents to help save a life by registering and becoming an organ donor. It's easy and you can even update your donor status on our mobile app. Also, as more cyclists are on our roads this time of year, please read our bicycle safety tips for sharing the road.
Additionally, I had the honor of testifying last month at our agency's Budget Oversight Hearing. Please read on to learn more about some of the specific investments Mayor Bowser proposed for DC DMV in fiscal year 2023. Finally, we're excited to announce DC DMV is now offering Washington Mystics specialty tags in recognition of our local team's 2019 WNBA Championship win!
As a reminder, please join me for our DC DMV Live Chat the first Thursday of each month. I'll be online for a full hour to respond in real-time to any of your DC DMV-related questions. Our next live chat is scheduled for Thursday, May 5 at 12 p.m. Spread the word!
Thank you for reading this edition of our newsletter. Enjoy and stay safe!
