(WASHINGTON, DC) – In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, all District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) locations will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2013. All DC DMV service centers, adjudication services, and inspection station will resume regular business hours on Friday, November 29, 2013.

 

Customers are encouraged to plan ahead as the days before and after a holiday are usually busy. The following services are available online at dmv.dc.gov:

 

·         Renew vehicle registration (can only be done online or by mail; no in-person visit)

·         Obtain duplicate vehicle registration

·         Renew driver license

·         Obtain duplicate driver license

·         Renew identification card

·         Surrender tags

·         Obtain driver record
