Once an inspection sticker is removed from the vehicle windshield, it will display “VOID.” It is illegal to display a voided inspection sticker, so if your windshield is replaced, do not try to use the old sticker on the new windshield. Go to the DC DMV Inspection Station within 72 hours to obtain a replacement inspection sticker. You will be charged a fee for the replacement.
