Opening at New Location in The Shops at Georgetown Park

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Tuesday, April 29, 2014, the District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) will open its Georgetown Service Center in a new location at The Shops at Georgetown Park. The new service center will be located at 3270 M Street, NW, Canal Level, Washington, DC 20007, and the hours of operation will be Tuesday - Saturday from 8:15am – 4:00pm.

DC DMV Director Lucinda Babers said, “The DC Department of Motor Vehicles is pleased to open our newest location in Georgetown. While we are returning to The Shops at Georgetown Park, the service center is larger than the previous one and will enable us to better serve our customers.” Babers added, “Georgetown will be a full service facility and customers will be provided with the same services that are provided at the three other service centers: Southwest, Penn Branch, and Rhode Island.”

With the opening of the Georgetown Service Center, DC DMV will have four service centers open within the District of Columbia – one in every quadrant of the city.

DC DMV encourages customers who are required to conduct their transactions in-person to prepare for their visit by reviewing pertinent information on the agency’s website at dmv.dc.gov.
